VST ECS (Thailand) Unites Employees for “Recycle for Change: From Our Bottles to Their School Bags,” Transforming Used Plastic Bottles into School Bags for Local Community Schools

VST ECS (Thailand) Co., Ltd. continues to reinforce its commitment to sustainability through "VST ECS Recycle for Change...From Our Bottles to Their School Bags". The campaign encourages employees to sort and collect used clear PET plastic bottles for proper recycling and upcycling, transforming them into 100 school backpacks to be donated to schools in nearby communities. Approximately 23 plastic bottles can be upcycled into one school bag.

The initiative was created to foster awareness of responsible resource use and promote the reuse of materials within the organization. To support employee participation, VST ECS (Thailand) set up dedicated collection points for used clear PET plastic bottles, enabling employees across all departments to contribute in a tangible way. Through their collective efforts, the company has collected more than 40 kilograms of used plastic, equivalent to approximately 2,500 bottles, which will be processed through upcycling to create added value as school backpacks. The project not only delivers meaningful benefits to society, but also shares happiness with local communities and builds a sense of pride among employees.
