VST ECS (Thailand) Donates Recycled Plastic School Backpacks to a School in Its Surrounding Community under the “VST ECS Recycle for Change: From Our Bottles to Their School Bags” Project

VST ECS (Thailand) Co., Ltd., one of Thailand’s leading ICT distributors and a member of the VST ECS Group, reaffirms its commitment to sustainable growth through its environmental initiative, “VST ECS Recycle for Change: From Our Bottles to Their School Bags,” under the concept “Change for a Sustainable World.” As part of the project, the company donated 100 school backpacks made from recycled plastic to Wat Bueng Thonglang School (Pitak Witthayakarn), a school located in the community surrounding the company, to support educational opportunities for students while promoting the efficient use of resources through recycling and upcycling.

The donation ceremony was attended by Ms. Sunee Meetham, School Director, and Ms. Warisara Srisomowong, Deputy School Director, who represented the school in receiving the donation. The backpacks were presented by VST ECS (Thailand) executives, led by Miss Arurat Pattanavichai, Vice President of Finance, Accounting and Legal; Miss Sadetinan Siriparichayasakul, Vice President of General Administration and Outsource Business Coordination; and Miss Panmanee Ong-art, Vice President of Human Resources. In addition to the 100 school backpacks, VST ECS (Thailand) also contributed THB 10,000 to support the school’s educational development, reflecting the company’s dedication to creating shared value among the organization, the local community, and the environment.

Under the project, VST ECS (Thailand) encouraged employees to sort and collect used clear plastic PET bottles for proper recycling and upcycling. The initiative collected more than 40 kilograms of used plastic, equivalent to approximately 2,500 bottles, which were transformed into school backpacks. This not only helped reduce plastic waste but also extended the value of used materials into meaningful support for society.
