VST ECS (Thailand) Strengthens Support for Digital Talent Development Through Network Equipment Donation to Prince of Songkla University

VST ECS (Thailand) Co., Ltd., one of Thailand’s leading ICT distributors and a member of the VST ECS Group continues to support Thai education by donating two Cisco ASR 9903 High-Performance Routers to the Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Prince of Songkla University. The contribution aims to enhance teaching and hands-on training in network infrastructure, while providing students with the opportunity to learn from and gain practical exposure to enterprise-grade networking technology that can be applied in real-world working environments.

The handover ceremony was honored by the presence of Asst. Prof. Dr. Nikom Suwannaworn, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prince of Songkla University, together with faculty members from the Computer Engineering Program, who received the donated equipment. Representing VST ECS (Thailand) Co., Ltd. at the ceremony was Mr. Kiattisak Wangso, Sales Manager, Province-South who formally presented the routers for use in teaching, practical training, and the development of students’ networking skills.

This initiative reflects VST ECS (Thailand)’s commitment to leveraging information technology to support education and create opportunities for students to gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience through technologies that closely resemble real-world applications. The donation will help strengthen essential skills and experience, enabling students to build on their knowledge for future careers and prepare for the evolving demands of the digital era.
