VST ECS (Thailand) Partners with ZTE to Expand Clean Energy Portfolio and Accelerate BESS Adoption in Thailand

VST ECS (Thailand) Co., Ltd., one of Thailand’s leading ICT distributors and a member of the VST ECS Group, is strengthening its position in the country’s technology distribution sector with an official expansion into clean energy. Through a strategic partnership with ZTE Corporation, a global leading provider of integrated information and communications technology solutions, VST ECS has been appointed as ZTE’s first official distributor in Thailand for its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) portfolio. The appointment marks a significant step in broadening VST ECS’s portfolio with technologies from a global partner, while positioning the company to capture emerging opportunities arising from Thailand’s energy transition and the shift toward a low-carbon economy.

The strategic alliance reflects VST ECS’s evolution from a leading IT distributor into an end-to-end technology solutions aggregator for enterprise customers. ZTE’s Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), engineered for commercial and industrial applications, is delivered as an All-in-One Integrated Cabinet with a rated power output of 125 kW and a battery capacity of 261 kWh. Designed to provide approximately two hours of continuous energy supply, the system is well suited to manufacturing plants, office buildings, industrial estates, and smart parks seeking to improve the efficiency and reliability of energy management.

The integrated platform combines battery storage, intelligent energy management, and rapid-response capabilities in a single system. It enhances backup power readiness, supports organizations in managing grid volatility and emergency power requirements, and enables more effective load and electricity-cost management by capitalizing on time-of-use tariff differentials. These capabilities allow businesses to optimize energy use, reduce emissions, and establish a practical foundation for more resilient and sustainable operations.
